UK Public Transport

Meridian are happy to arrange all your transportation needs from airport transfers to and from our schools through to local travel passes.

Transport may be by train, coach, bus or taxi but you can be assured that Meridian will ensure value for money while giving equal consideration to your comfort.

If you are traveling by bus organised by Meridian please remember that each person may only bring 20kg of luggage with them.

This amount should fit into two medium sized suitcases without difficulty. Extra luggage, including awkwardly shaped items, will only be carried if there is space. If you plan on bringing more than the above specified luggage please consult us.

Transportation is provided by a local companies who have shown continuity and commitment for the safe and reliable travel of our participants.

It should be noted that the security at airports in the United Kingdom is rigorous. London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Bristol have set procedures that need to be adhered too.

Prior to your departure for the UK a mobile number will be sent so that the Group leader can contact the driver of your transfer vehicle.

Once in Arrivals the Group Leader should go to the Marshall at the front door (exit) and convey that a Coach transfer is awaiting in the Coach car Park to collect the group. The Marshall will then phone the coach park to confirm and allow the coach to proceed to arrivals to collect the group.

The coach will not be allowed to arrivals without prior permission by the Marshalls

If you plan to use this option as a group, please note the following specifications:

1. Maximum of three persons in a standard saloon car with one medium suitcase per person

2. For up to five persons in a people carrier with one medium suitcase each add 30%
