History and Awards

Meridian School of English (part of the Tellus Group) have been teaching English for over thirty years. This means we have a lot of experience to offer students who choose to study with us in England.

The Accreditation UK scheme is the best guide to the country's English Language Centres , which are thoroughly inspected on a regular basis. Our Portsmouth school has been awarded "Highly Trusted Sponsor" status by the UK Border Agency. This is a new category that recognizes sponsors who are achieving the highest level of compliance required by the UK Border Agency.

For nearly 200 years it has played an important role in Plymouth business life and provided a forum that its member companies can use to build and develop their businesses. Tellus is a proud member of the Chamber and a strong supporter of its events.
