The programme offers students aged between 12 and 17 the opportunity to develop and practise their English language skills in a fun, international English speaking environment. The course comprises English language lessons combined with an extensive selection of half-day activities and excursions, and a range of evening events. At the weekend, the students will enjoy a full day cultural excursion to one of a number of locations.
We aim to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where young students can enjoy stimulating lessons and meet people from other countries and cultures.

Detailed description of Junior Programme at Meridian School of English
The Cities of Plymouth and Portsmouth are both historic maritime cities with lively centres and spectacular coastal landscapes. Plymouth enjoys the benefit of being close to the fantastic moorland national park of Dartmoor and the many natural attractions of Cornwall while Portsmouth has the “world capital” of London nearby.
The Junior Programme takes place all year round (apart from a two week Christmas Holiday) starting each Monday for 15 hours per week at all levels from A1 to C2. A test is required to ensure students are placed in the correct class . Regular monitoring of student progress is also carried out. Students enjoy small class sizes (maximum 15) and a Meridian Certificate is awarded at the end of the course.
There are two types of activities in two packages. The difference is the number and quality of activities.
